TUESDAY – Lunch (provided by Mrs. Pink)

WEDNESDAY – Candy and Popcorn Bar (provided by 2nd and 5th grade parents)

THURSDAY – Baked Potato Bar Luncheon (provided by Pink PTA)

Since the PTA (which means many of you – thank you!) is providing the teachers with 3 days worth of goodies, we are asking you to provide the following on your own (if you choose to participate):

TUESDAY – write a note of love and thanks to your teacher

FRIDAY – get your teacher a small gift card to his/her favorite place

Thank you for your continued support for our wonderful teachers!  We are so blessed to have them!!!

A Note of Thanks

Healthapalooza Week was a huge success!

During this fun-filled week, we hosted several activities promoting health and wellness including: our first ever Wellness Challenge, Walking Wednesday, our second annual Healthapalooza Health & Science Fair, and Eating Around the Rainbow, just to name a few! Special thanks to all of the parent volunteers who helped plan and execute these events and to our wonderful cafeteria staff for preparing the fruit and vegetable offerings. Words cannot adequately express how appreciative we are of everyone who participated. We hope you found this to be a fun and informative week!

On behalf of the Pink Elementary Whole Child Committee, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the following organizations and local area businesses that participated in our second annual Healthapalooza Health & Science Fair. This event, and Healthapalooza Week as a whole, was the incredible success it was due to their generosity and the time and effort they put forth to make this a fun and interactive educational experience for our Pink students and their families.
